The Teltonika EYE Sensor measures the temperature and relative humidity inside the bin room. These readings are transmitted wirelessly to MyVends monitoring, allowing you to review conditions without visiting the machine.

The sensor helps you:

• Monitor bin-room temperature and humidity remotely
• Identify periods of excessive humidity
• Confirm whether visible condensation is associated with high humidity
• Set alerts for readings outside your preferred limits
• Compare environmental conditions before and after corrective changes
• Detect conditions that may contribute to ice clumping

Measure the Effectiveness of Your Dehumidifier

The EYE Sensor is primarily a monitoring and diagnostic tool. It identifies changing environmental conditions, but it does not remove moisture from the bin room.

When high humidity is discovered, a Datawrx dehumidifier provides the primary solution by removing excess moisture from the air. The EYE Sensor can then be used to track the improvement and confirm how effectively the dehumidifier is controlling humidity over time.

Recommended Sensor Location

For the most relevant readings, the EYE Sensor should be installed inside the machine’s bin room where the ice is stored. Exact placement may vary depending on the machine’s layout, airflow, and the location of visible condensation.
